Sequoia Meets the Multi-Piscine Challenge!
At the end of February 2010, Waterville’s volunteer firemen organized quite an unusual fundraising event. To collect money for the municipal fire department and the Canadian Cancer Society, they invited residents to come and swim with them in a heated pool outside the fire station. Sequoia was proud to contribute to the success of the Multi-Piscine Challenge by heating the pool (24 hours a day – for 5 consecutive days – at 100°F (38°C)) and the nearby buildings, using wood waste and the reputable Green Dragon unit heaters.
